The Winners Take It All
The deliberating is over. It's time to give hand printers and digital retouchers a well-deserved pat on the back and celebrate the invaluable contribution they make to professional photography.

The Fujifilm/PPLA Colour Printer of the Year Awards entries were presented at the AOP Gallery on 2 June and exhibited for a week. Lee Adams of Metro Imaging was named Fujifilm/PPLA Colour Printer of the Year, and freelancer, Morgan Sendall was awarded Digital Retoucher of the Year by a panel of judges including journalists, digital retouchers and lab owners.
The ninth annual awards were open to a wider range of entrants - offering as many digital as hand printing categories. Freelance retouchers were also invited to enter for the first time. Entrants were spurred on by the prospect of £300 cash and £300 Fujifilm products for category winners, with £200 and £100 cash for second and third placed entries respectively. The two overall winners received an additional £700 cash and £700 worth of Fujifilm products.
The call for entry for the Fujifilm/PPLA Colour Printer Awards 2004 will be issued in autumn 2003.
