Clear Cut Choice
The new version Fujiclear and Fujitrans display materials for digital printing promised better blacks, brighter whites and improved colour reproduction, when relaunched in November 2003.
And already labs like what they see. The higher D-max offers an extremely wide range of gradation, with deep, deep blacks, and both materials offer natural and more vibrant reproduction of red, green, blue and yellow, producing a high-chroma finish, perfect for retail and exhibition large format display graphics.
Nottingham-based Viva Imaging has more than 14 years experience of exhibition printing for companies including British Gypsum and Revlon, and continues to see growth in this part of the business.

Viva Imaging in Nottingham use fujifilm Fujiclear Material with creative effect. |
All graphics are printed on Fujifilm materials with the highest demand for clear-base Fujiclear.
"Fujiclear is really punchy and gives the very best results for our clients, whether for retail use or at an exhibition," said John Watson, MD. "We've experimented with special effects as well, for example, printing on Fujiclear and combining it with frosted acrylic to give an 'ice-like' quality to the image. This was the perfect effect for our client Iniskillen Ice Wines for an exhibition stand."
Retail specialists SP Group in Redditch introduced digital to its litho and screen-printing services in 1998. Its client list now includes blue-chip companies like Cadbury, Jaguar, Arcadia and Bacardi, with the highest demand for POS printed on Fujitrans.
"Clients want the quality diffused image we can achieve with translucent-base Fujitrans," said Nick Stephens, technical director. "But production considerations are also important - and we know that we can get the right price, excellent back-up service and the very best product available from Fujitrans and Fujiclear."
