Don't Say Cheese for Passport Photos
In new regulations being issued by the UK Passport Service, travellers have been ordered not to look too happy in passport photographs.
In order to combat terrorism, a new type of passport is being introduced. This new system will include facial scanners at airports, which work by matching features on a persons face - so long fringes, head coverings and even toothy smiles are now out.
Spectacle wearers must wear them at the end of their nose, so that they do not obscure the eyes, or produce reflections. The new photographic regulations are effective immediately - so make sure that any photos you take comply with the new regulations - otherwise you could have an unhappy customer on your hands.
And don’t forget, passport photos are a great earner! With the Fujifilm ID Kit you can take high quality pictures, fast and return a high profit margin at the same time.
Using an FP14 Dual Instant Camera and FP100C instant film in silk or gloss you can produce four passport-sized photos in just a few seconds and the Fujifilm ID Kit provides you with all the extras you need. It contains a camera and cutter, point-of-sale materials and wallets for your customers’ photos, a white blind and even a beanbag for use in baby photos.
