Impressive Briefs!

The Fujifilm/PPLA Colour Printer Awards are now under way for 2005, with two categories to consider - Hand Printer and Digital Retoucher of the Year. With three briefs in each category, there’s something to enable everyone to show off their printing talents:

Hand Printing - Buildings & Industry, People & Occasions and Land Sea and Air.
Digital Retouching - The Taylor James brief looks to turn London’s Piccadilly Circus into a scene from the next ice age, following the effects of global warming; the Martin Beckett/FTP Digital brief which is to develop a 380 degree panoramic shot of an architecturally striking hotel in Cyprus; and the Peter Dazeley/Tigga brief which, using creative manipulation ages a man’s face to show what he might look like in 2050.

The awards, which are now in their eleventh year, boast a prize fund of £1000 cash and £1000 worth of Fujifilm product.
